二 | 从2026年1月全平台上线到宣布停止开发，这款游戏的运营时间尚不足一年。《2XKO》由此成为Riot史上最短命的自研游戏。《2XKO》的停更，让不少玩家再次把目光投向了拳头手中另一个命运未卜的项目——《英雄联盟》MMO。这款基于《英雄联盟》世界观开发的MMORPG，自2020年12月被首次证实以来，至今仍未揭开真实面貌。2024年初，拳头宣布对MMO项目进行“重置”，推翻了此前已开发的内容。联合创始人Marc Merrill当时表示，之所以推倒重来，是因为此前的方向“与现有产品差异化不足”，如果无法创造真正独特的体验，项目就没有存在的意义。重置之后，项目进入了长达数年的静默期。

三 | 近一年多来，拳头持续从《魔兽世界》团队引入核心人才：2026年1月，前《魔兽世界》首席制作人雷蒙德·巴尔托斯加入；2026年6月，前《魔兽世界》首席战斗设计师布莱恩·霍林卡也确认加盟。开发团队正全力推进，目标是在2030年前实现上线。然而考虑到2024年才重置方向、目前仍处于研发阶段，且拳头官方此前已确认该项目“还需要数年时间”才能完成，2030年这个目标能否兑现仍有相当大的不确定性。联合创始人Merrill在2025年初曾调侃过一句发售窗口：“希望在我们去火星之前”。格斗游戏折戟之后，MMO的成败对拳头来说只会更加关键。但这款LOL世界观下的MMO能否在2030年前端出来，恐怕连拳头自己心里都没底。
